KNICKERBOCKER YARN
A fancy yarn with small spots of bright colour in the form of small knops. The spotting material is flecked on at the carder, and several colours can be used. It is a nub type of yarn spun on the woollen principle. It is used for fancy tweed cloths for sports wear. Cotton is sometimes used for effect.
